Course overview

A gentle, fun, relaxed course for those who want to improve their reading, writing, speaking and listening skills at Entry Levels 1 and 2.
This course will start at Uckfield Civic Centre and move to Uckfield College later in the year.
All staff and learners will be following Covid 19 guidelines. These will be explained to you by your tutor.

Where Uckfield Civic Centre, Civic Approach, Uckfield, East Sussex, TN22 1AE.
When Tuesday, 7:00pm - 9:00pm from 22nd September 2020 until 22nd June 2021 for 32 weeks.

27th October, 10th, 17th and 24th November. 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th December , 5th & 12th, 19th, 26th January, 2nd, 9th,16th and 23rd February, 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th March (Lockdown) 6th, 13th April (Spring break), 1st June (Half Term)

What you already need to know

No previous experience is necessary as the course will assess the learners and start from a point that is suitable for each student.

Reading - not just books, but reading things when you are out and about
Writing - improve what you write
Speaking - feel more confident
Listening - learn as you listen

How you will learn it

You will work at your own pace. A variety of learning and teaching methods will be used so that you can improve your skills and gain more confidence with English.

Extra study or practice

Homework is optional. Learners are encouraged to read outside the class.
